Resources of Ladakh Buddhist Association

The Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) is a prominent organization that manages and maintains an impressive portfolio of immovable properties, including land and shopping complexes. These assets generate revenue through rental income, supporting the association's activities and charitable endeavors. The LBA operates two schools, Riglam School Leh and Jamyang School Khalsi, providing educational opportunities to children from underprivileged families. To ensure accessibility, nominal fees are charged, making quality education a reality for those who need it most. The LBA allocates a significant portion of its resources towards education, with an annual expenditure of approximately ?80 lakh, accounting for 40% of its income. Beyond education, the LBA organizes seminars on socio-religious issues, religious teachings, and various cultural events, fostering community development and social welfare.
