On November 29, an important meeting of the LBA Education Committee convened, led by Chairman Sh Eshay Tundup. Key attendees included Sr. Vice President Sh Rigzin Dorjay, Vice President Smt Kunzes Dolma, and LBA Youth President Sh Jigmet Rafstan, along with principals from around 25 local private and government schools. 
The meeting focused on the upcoming Ladakh Olympiad scheduled for December, alongside discussions aimed at enhancing the education system in Ladakh, particularly within the Buddhist community. Critical issues such as drug and substance abuse in the community were also addressed. LBA parents and youth executive members pledged to support initiatives addressing these challenges.
It was unanimously decided to hold the Ladakh Olympiad on December 8 at Riglam School, conditional on favourable weather.
