The election for the Presidential post of Ladakh Buddhist Association took place today on 05/05/2024 at Dharma Centre, Choglamsar. Following a successful conduct of the election, Sh Tashi Tsetan, the Election Authority of LBA declared the victory to Sh Chering Dorjey Lakrook as the new President of LBA 2024-2027 with a total number of 179 votes who was contested by Sh Rigzin Spalbar with 146 votes. 
There was a turn out of total 329 voters from the General Council Members of Ladakh Buddhist Association.
