To mark the 35th birth anniversary of 11th Panchen Lama Gendun Choe kyi Nyima on 25th April 2024, Sh. Rigzen Dorjay, the President of LBA Youth Wing (LBA’s President during transition) took part in the official birthday function at Dharamsala,Himachal with invitation from the Central Tibetan Administration. 
Delegates including Sh Rigzin Dorjay and others from the Himalayan region were granted an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama before the official function took place at the Tsuklakhang. 
Sh. Rigzin Dorjay on behalf of whole the Buddhist community of Ladakh addressed the gathering highlighting the need to release 11th Panchen Lama currently imprisoned by Chinese government since he was only 6 years of age.
